My Architecture Workshops Inc., a non profit organization, formed in Stamford, CT 2020, introduces students to the fields of architecture, design, and construction. Workshops and collaboration focus on engaging young people who are interested in exploring careers in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Industries. Our program provides the resources and educational events to advance the cause of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
To date we have hosted a series of construction site tours to expose high school students to architecture in motion. Last year we featured the Strawberry Hill Barn Construction project in a yearlong series of site tours and educational virtual classes for our Stamford Public high school students, and JM Wright Technical high school students.
This summer we are delighted to inform you we are launching a 6-week Architecture, Design, and Engineering S.T.E.A.M camp for our K-8 students. Our program will be hosted at the Strawberry Hill Barn in Stamford, CT and will run from July 5th to August 12th for up to 30 students.
