Future Builder’s Edition

Welcome to ArchKidCon 2024, a two-day event presented by My Architecture Workshops Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Stamford, CT dedicated to introducing students to the fields of architecture, design, and construction. ArchKidCon is an exciting, immersive and interactive hands-on architectural experience for all students. ArchKidCon is a family friendly event and encourages families to build and be creative together.

This year's theme "Future Builders"is about inspiration and creativity. Exploring different aspects of architecture, design, art, landscaping, engineering, and construction, and bringing students and families together in a creative space. 

 

Attendees at ArchKidCon will have the chance to participate in hands-on workshops and exhibit tours led by industry professionals and student peers, designed to engage students' minds and imaginations and develop important skills such as observation, reasoning, and critical thinking. There are different workshops available for different age groups, ranging from grades K-12.

 

In addition to the hands-on workshops, ArchKidCon also focuses on sustainability, health & fitness, and social-emotional wellness. Attendees will learn about sustainable practices and how it can impact the design of buildings, the farm-to-table movement and spaces related to food production, preparation, and consumption. The importance of fitness and its relation to creativity from the inside out. As well as the importance of group collaboration and social emotional techniques to guide personal and group work. We will be providing a farm-to-table experience for lunch prepared and sourced by local farms and chefs. Fitness and meditation brain breaks between workshops, and mini group sessions led by social and motivational instructors.

 

By attending ArchKidCon, students will have the opportunity to gain real-world experience, hands-on practice, connect with industry professionals, and develop a stronger appreciation for the built environment and the skills needed to succeed in the AEC industry. This convention will be a ground breaking and engaging experience for all attendees.
